It is now eight thirty at night and I came back from tuition about half an hour ago. Just remembered about my blog assignment so here I am writing this last blog entry again. Let me tell you about an incident that happened in my family recently.

Recently, my sixteen year old sister just got her O level results. My parents had expected to do fairly as she had barely passed her second prelims.

However, instead of getting the raw score of 13- 16 points, my sister did unexpectedly well, scoring ten points as a raw score. After receiving the good news, my parents were elated and to reward my sister for her hard effort put in studying, they decided to bring the family to a restaurant for celebration this Sunday.

After seeing my sister do so well for her O levels, I am even more determined to work as hard as my sister did and get even better results that she got.

Today is again, another mundane Monday morning. I got out of bed reluctantly, feeling the Monday blues. To add to my frustration, the trip my family had planned had been cancelled at the last minute as my grandmother had fell sick on Friday night.

Anyway, let me tell you about my day at school today. Nothing unusual or strange happened at school today. However, instead of the form teachers session that we usually have on Monday mornings, we had our Peer Leaders Session. Some secondary 4 pupils came in at around 8 a.m. During this one and a half hours, we did a mini project, which was for the president's charity. We were to think of ways to raise funds by selling something that had low capital. The the best proposal in the class would be carried out. This mini project would give us three CIP points.

Next, was one period of English lesson. We focused mainly on comprehension as we were now in the comprehension module. After this English lesson, was the long anticipated recess. Most of my classmates rushed down to the field to play soccer. For me, I stayed in outside class to play chess.

Then, was my science lesson. The teacher, Mr Gabriel was able to bring a little life into the class by giving us small breaks during his lesson. We learnt about the heart, the arteries, capillaries and veins. We have been on this chapter (transport in man) since the start of last week.

Next was literature lessons. In the lesson, we did mainly on act 1 scene 1 of the play. This part of the play was on witches, who were discussing about the meeting with Macbeth, the main character. Shakespeare's plays are always this unique as he is able to include a sense of humor in his plays.

To me, Fridays are always the best days of the week. These are a few reasons why. Firstly, ever Friday, we would have our recess earlier. Instead of having it at 10.10, we would have it at 9.35. This gives us less lesson time before recess. Secondly, it is because the next day, Saturday, is a holiday. This means that I can take my own sweet time in completing my homework and have spend more time on the Internet. Lastly, it is because I do not have any cca or third language after school.(which means that i can spend more time outside.)

However, this weekend is not like any other weekend. On Saturday, my family and relatives are planning an outing to Ubin. In total, 16 people are going. my grandmother, four of my aunties, three of my uncles, my family, and three of my cousins. This is the second time I am going on an outing with my relatives. For the first time, we went to Vivo city.(a long time ago, when Vivo city just opened) As we had a great time, I am looking forward to this outing.

We intend to go to Ubin early in the morning so that we can enjoy the country life there to the full. We would rent bikes for the whole day and cycle around Ubin. We would also go hiking and are even considering spending the night there. I really look forward to the time of fellowship with my relatives.

this is a video my history teacher showed during his lesson.

Today is another normal school day. First, we had our English lessons. The usual English lesson was made more interesting today by my English teacher. The lesson was mainly about comprehension. We posed like statues. This interesting activity brought much more life into the classroom.

Next, was our Science lab lesson. The experiment was on osmosis and diffusion. Firstly, we did an experiment on diffusion. We experimented on the rate of diffusion. We had to find the relationship between the surface is to volume ratio and the rate of diffusion. The next experiment was on osmosis. We immersed an onion cell in water and watched the cell as it swelled up.(osmosis occured down a lower w.p.gradient causing the cell to swell up)

Next, was recess. I spent most of my time playing chess outside the classroom.(we were not allowed to stay in the classroom for some reason)

Recess passed quickly and next, it was the most dreaded lesson of the day, chinese. Chinese w
as the most boring lesson. All I remember doing is sitting down on the chair, daydreaming, revising a little and soon the lesson was over.

Next, was history lesson. The history lesson was the most anticipated lesson by the class. This is not because we were all interested in history, but it was because of the teacher, Mr Thiru. Mr Thiru was a very amusing teacher, always able to amuse us in different ways. He would always make time at the end of the lesson to show us amusing videos, jokes, funny pictures, and funny power point slides. This amusing man never fails to make the class burst out in laughter less than five times in his class.

After this lesson, was PE theory. The teacher, Mr Amir was also quite amusing. During that lesson,we calculated our BMI(body mass index) My BMI was 15.41 if I'm not wrong. This falls under the unhealthy range. Guess I better eat more.

Sorry, got to go for tution now, till next time!

The video above is amusing
This is how my frustrating day went. Being a Saturday, I considered skipping my BB(my cca) to slack at home. Nevertheless, I still went for BB.BB as usual, is extremely boring. I did drill, got punished with push-ups for not polishing my boots and belt buckle, played games and did many other things we would usually do at any normal parade. I also was late as I missed the bus.(got punished for that too.)

After this, i went for Chinese tuition and this was even more boring. the tuition teacher kept talking and talking and talking.(almost fell asleep during the lesson) Next, the teacher told us to take out our Chinese narrative composition, my last week homework. Oh no. I had forgotten to do this composition for the second time. As a result of that, she made me stand outside the class room for the rest of the lesson. I stood outside and soon, the class ended. I finally had half an hour of free time to myself until the next tuition class...

I spent my next half an hour enjoying my dinner/lunch at KFC.(ate snackers)time passed very fast and soon,it was time for my next tuition class.nothing much happened during these one hour of science tuition. it just passed quickly.(maybe because i spent most of my time day dreaming)Soon the tuition was over. I finally had the rest of the day to myself, free to do whatever I wanted.

Now,I am alone in the room writing this blog. Although this is my school homework, I am finding this to be quite enjoyable.after this stressing day I am finally able to do something i enjoy. Got to stop here. My mum is calling me for dinner. Bye.
